Crochet Ruffled Neck Warmer

Skill Level – Beginner

Hook Size – Clover I (5.5 mm)

Yarn – Lion Brand Heartland (4 medium), 122 Grand Canyon

Finished Size – 22″ long

Special Stitches:

Moss (paired hdc) - in 1st chain, insert, YO, pull out / in next chain, insert, YO, pull out, YO, pull thru 3.

* Note - Moss stitch looks identical on both sides.

Small Scallop - sc, hdc, 2 dc, hdc, sc in same stitch space, sl st in next ch, repeat.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Body: Chain 22 (in multiples of 2 to desired height of neck)

Row 1 - 44: 18 Moss stitch, ch 2, T. (Keep stitches tight). Equals length of the warmer.

Trim: Sc around entire perimeter to get a nice flat, uniform rectangle.

On one end and adjoining side crochet "fun fur" or add small scallop (face scallops in same direction).

Add hidden snaps between layer ends, add decorative buttons or use a broach.
